I've started to bump into this issue now, having to use the device out and about more and more recently, on power it's great (and tends to live it's life up till now hooked up to a Thunderbolt dock and 3 monitors) so the keyboard has not worn etc, but I just can't compile code at any sort of...
Probably need to enable the acpi setting for it, so
acpi_osi=! acpi_osi=Linux (in grub config)
Then something like https://github.com/dariost/clevo-xsm-wmi should be able to enable / change stuff, my best guess anyhow.
Latency comes down to drivers used etc, but I've not bumped into anything unusual, however I don't use the onboard audio, I have external stuff in use.
The Thunderbolt 3 runs through whichever gpu is in use, in bios you can enable disable each manually, and I get 100+ fps in stuff on my 1440p display through tb doc, with 0% usage on the integrated gpu.
The Vyper 17 I have so far I love, yes wish it had a dp as well, however oculus uses hdmi...
Ohhh... Quick note... Drivers... I installed Windows myself from scratch, and the drivers are not complete on the PCS Website, you need the Thunderbolt and Management Engine stuff from Intel, shout if you need them and I'll send em over.
Battery life: Have no idea as it's been exclusively used on the desk for the moment as WFH. Might give it a battery test later for when I put the video review together. I'll update when I do.
Keyboard : Can confirm, no white available, I tend to go blue anyhow as a rule, on all my lappy's so...
Here's a quick review (I've been chock full of 'real' work recently, as was last few weeks of my current PI), so let's do a quick good and bad's for the Vyper 17.
Spec : 10875H / 2070Super / 32GB / -50mv undervolt...
Could always try pull the audio driver off (in add remove programs) and just use the windows default one, it's not feature-rich, but might show if it's a driver issue or hardware
