    PCSPECIALIST Indie game recommendations

I discovered Carrion on the Xbox Game Pass and can also highly recommend. Once I started playing it I was compelled to carry on.

    PCSPECIALIST 4000X RGB

The 4000X looks good, but I think the 4000D with the front RGB fans actually looks better (and has better airflow).

PCSPECIALIST Looking for input for build

Thank you for the advice. I am currently emailing enquiries regarding my case and fans, so I will ask when they get back to me. Is it just 3600 sticks with the issue? Because, I keep hearing about issues with 3600mhz sticks in general so will be going for 3200mhz sticks instead now. When I...

PCSPECIALIST Looking for input for build

Quick question. If I upgrade to 32gb of RAM, am I right in thinking that there is an issue with the CPU/Motherboard or something like that when using 4 sticks? Or is that a different issue that wouldn't affect me.

PCSPECIALIST Looking for input for build

That's brilliant, because that is exactly what I emailed them and asked them if I could do :) I figured they could if I asked and arranged it. And the extra fans will help with cooling the 5800x. I am glad I can get the case delivered to them lol, I was hoping I didn't have to get the case sent...

PCSPECIALIST Looking for input for build

I am awaiting some confirmation from PCSpecialist now on the case. I want it in White because I am being picky haha. But also, the case comes with 2 fans, one at the front and one at the back. So I wanted to purchase the 3 fans to take up the three slots on the front, but the website doesn't...

PCSPECIALIST Looking for input for build

It's all good. I appreciate the input. I have been weighing up lots of options and watching loads of reviews, looking for existing builds, etc. I think all the comments here help as it gives me something to focus looking into. I too was concerned about the 5800x being a hot CPU so I will look...

PCSPECIALIST Looking for input for build

I am severely disappointed that the 5000D doesn't fit on my desk. I am still looking into other options for getting the case on the desk. Cooling reviews doesn't look too bad for the 4000D, however, if I added a H150i cooler it needs to stack at the front and not on the top. Whereas the H100i...

PCSPECIALIST Looking for input for build

I've gone over a few revisions and am almost ready to buy. Firstly, changed the case to the 4000D. I want the 5000D, but my desk section where my PC is going is only 48cm deep whereas the 5000D is 52cm deep. If anyone has a solution which isn't buying a new desk, I am all ears. Kept the...

PCSPECIALIST Looking for input for build

Thank you for the feedback. I've used this input to look into the CPU choice some more and it does seem like I will get better performance with the 5800 CPU with gaming, so that was an interesting discovery. It does look as though this CPU is one of the best available. And the 3000 series GPU...

PCSPECIALIST Looking for input for build

Hi guys, my current build was built on a budget in 2017 by PC Specialist and to upgrade the CPU requires upgrading the motherboard, RAM, etc. My Graphics card is still reasonable (RX Radeon 580), but it is apparent I am better off starting from scratch as no matter what I am basically building a...
