Total shot in the dark here, but have you recently had COVID-19?
I had it during July earlier this year, and I lost my sense of taste and smell. Shortly after it came back, I kept thinking that I could smell smoke. I spent ages and ages trying to find out where it was coming from, but to no...
You could try disabling C-state in the BIOS, plenty others seem to have had some success.
I'm a stock notification away from buying an Xbox Series X and waiting for patches.
Chiming in to say I've still not had a crash. Granted it hasn't been that long.
Played an hour of CP2077 yesterday, all fine. Downloaded F1 2019 over lunch today (so about an hour and a bit), all fine.
It's happening to me and I am on Windows 10 :(
Issues like these are such a pain to diagnose, sending me crazy.
Hoping that C-State is the culprit, and a proper fix is pushed out at some point.
I shall do!
I had a quick trawl through the PCS tech support listings, and I've seen a few people posting with crashes/freezes, and they were all ASUS/AMD combo. Could just be coincidence, of course, but I suspect there's something going on behind the scenes.
Heya,
I'm having a similar issue to you, and I have a similar spec PC. I'm in the process of trying to diagnose and fix the issue myself, else I'll no doubt end up posting on here too. I have the same motherboard as you, with an AMD 5900X.
From what I've read, it's not unusual for the AMD...
My radiator is top mounted, and I just had to go and check whether they were PCS branded or not, and I'm someone who went to the effort of having the pump cap replaced. I can confidently say that, for me, the top-mounted radiator fans are not a concern. I attempted to track their motion, and due...
When I asked Corsair for some Corsair-branded pump caps, they took a good while to reply to me. All they asked for was proof of purchase of the H115i Elite Capellix. Since you already have your order confirmation, I reckon it's worth contacting them now. Hopefully they'll be here in time for...
Hey guys,
It's an order from a few months ago, but I've only recently got round to really using it. Here's the spec:
Case
CORSAIR OBSIDIAN SERIES 500D SE CASE
Processor (CPU)
AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12 Core CPU
Motherboard
ASUS® TUF X570-Plus Gaming
Memory (RAM)
32GB Corsair VENGEANCE RGB PRO DDR4...
My initial thought is coil whine, especially with it becoming louder/more noticeable with higher FPS. I have exactly the same issue with my 3080Ti.
I found that a great way to alleviate the issue is to apply an FPS cap through Nvidia Control Panel. As my monitor is 144hz with Gsync, I capped my...
This may not be relevant as I know the issue has uncovered new concerns, but I've been having a similar issue with all games for the past few weeks, and I'm not sure if your issue is exactly the same.
When playing any and all games, I'd get a noticeable stutter every 5-6 seconds or so. Oddly...
The way I tackle the Ubisoft situation is to wait for a few games I want to play to pile up, sub for a month, play them to death, then cancel my sub. Currently in the hibernation period waiting for Far Cry 6, then I'm gonna sub and play through FC6 and AC Valhalla.
As an update, for the benefit of anyone using the search function who's facing the same issue:
After a bit of chasing, Corsair finally got back to me.
They asked for a few details, such as serial number, proof of purchase, and my address.
After that, they shipped out a set of two replacement...
Glad to see it's not just on my end :)
I'll give Corsair a few more days to reply else I'll give them a call.
It's a really odd issue, as adding the whole H115i kit itself to the basket works just fine.
