I don't think the CPU (i9-9900K) or the GPU (2080RTX) are integrated on the motherboard but yeah - I mean it can be anything due to overheating as these desktop component do get really hot
I did have it regularly cleaned inside, so fans + vents were always clean from any dust. Plus it was always on top of a cooling stand with a decent fan.
Hadn't repasted CPU/GPU or anything else though.

4.5 years later the laptop will be put to rest with an unrepairable (& no spare parts) motherboard, after spending the last (almost) 2 months with pc-specialist support.
What a disappointment :-(

Unfortunately, turning off fast startup did not help :(
On the 3rd reboot the laptop turned itself off and was unable to power up again.
I also noticed that the same happens every time I exit BIOS settings, always on battery only.
Taking the battery out and then putting it in after a few minutes...
Fast Startup is related to the shutdown process, on reboot windows always initialises everything.
Additionally, the inability to power up shouldn't have anything to do with windows settings as it's not controlled by the OS at such an early stage.
I'll give it a try anyway though :)
