Quick update
I've not tried the thermal pad modification yet so no news on that although I did find this useful download link to the equivalent model on XMG's website
***link removed, other SIs drivers and software may be different to PCS and can cause major issues, always seek driver updates...
@Sakki , @SpyderTracks - Guys, thanks so much for this - good to see it's a known issue and not just down to my way of working
I've raised the issue with PCS and will reply back with the outcome
It was previously mentioned in numerous emails pertaining to the first device but isn't exclusively mentioned in the first RMA notes.
I've since emailed support relative to the second device reitterating that this is still an issue - I'm waiting to hear back on that.
I appreciate your thoughts...
I'm inclined to agree - my mind was drawn to thinking this could be a consequence of low power/signal delivery over the affected USB ports or something along those lines.
The reason I'm asking for other's experiences is this is already an RMA'd laptop - the first one of the exact same spec was...

Quick spec - Recoil 17", i9-13900hk, 4090, 64GB, dual nvme in raid 0
The major issue for me has been the Nvidia driver crashing at low workloads (browsing, YouTube...

It's not attractive for us to see the hardware right up there when the device is used for it's intended purpose and almost certainly will be throttling, at least on the CPU side...
Hi, a friend of mine has just taken delivery of this laptop, exact same spec - 3070 model, which prompted me to do some googling.
New install of Win10 20H2, fully updated. I don't think control centre is on there though.
Temps the same as yours @troshik1991 - we tried Doom Eternal, and Guild...
