Don't worry regarding the game choice, I didn't even receive my email with the codes so I contacted them and they sent me a Watch Dogs link yesterday. Hang in there!!

DPD had even taken a photo of the box at my door with it half open so that will always help too. Doesn't help I'm from Scotland which means the weather at the time was, of course, heavy rain. But again, performance works as intended and no bumps or scratches. But yea, I'll definitely be feeding...

My box was half open, heard a thud outside as the dpd driver placed it down (either that or he hit my door). The box of spare parts was also open inside with half the stuff spilling out. Fortunately, I can't see any signs of damage but I definitely wasn't impressed!

Thanks mate! Although it doesn't do it when in game or under stress, only when on desktop/browsing folders, Internet etc. Will try it all the same and see what happens after a few more checks. That's assuming it is the 3080 causing it (I have the Trinity version)

Yea, almost like when you turn your head you can here the points of constructive/destructive interference and it changes in volume. Just happens to be where I have it setup relative to where I sit it's probably as loud as it can be for me!

Its the corsair 1000W one, checked settings and it's got that silent mode enabled. I think the noise is unintentional, but nothing looks damaged or out of place. My mobo has a single beep when I turn it on too implying either fast start is disabled, no VGA or no keyboard (all seem totally fine...

I mean performance wise, the machine is a beast! It's like when everything is going full throttle it works flawlessly, but when little power is being drawn the PSU (I think) just emits this reaaaaally high pitched noise and if I'm just casually browsing the web or studying, that is definitely...

Oh yea it's not ridiculously loud but you saying you "couldn't place" sounds similar to me....as I moved my ear closer it sounded like the noise wasn't even coming from my pc (some effect due to the frequency probably). 99% of the time I won't hear it, but I can't ignore it when I do. Thanks...

Ironically similar to my own, only stock issue was the cooler, yet yours was done even before mine but ordered after! There goes any potential model construction of how they operate, then.... some other variable unaccounted for! Only logic seems to be sit tight, hoping things will start to pick...

To let people make up their own minds, my 3080 order has been built and tested today as well. My order went through at 14:10 on release day, I also had the h115i cooler (which was out of stock until 16th Oct) so hopefully that's things going to start to move for everyone else 🙂
