Thanks for your reply,
So i have a 34 inch ultrawide 1440p, also for some reason the above spec didn't include the upgrades i made to my order so i have included them below.
I find that quite a few of the new games i'm playing this last year just don't quite achieve the performance i would...
Hi Everyone,
Just looking for a bit of advice really, with the upcoming launch of the 'super' 40 series cards I'm looking at perhaps upgrading my GPU to the 4070 Ti super. I just wanted to know if my CPU will impact performance on a card like that significantly or whether it would be okay? Or...
Okay, thats great. So I would definitely be better with an additional pair of 8's then a single pair of 16's.
I was hoping that would be the case because I'm a sucker for RGB and any excuse to add extra lights is a win from me 😂
Yeah sure, here you go

Afternoon people!
I am looking at upgrading my RAM from 16gb to 32gb but am unsure as to what would be best for my hardware. I've looked online a bit and it's sort of confusing. Not sure whether 2 sticks of 16 or 4 of 8 would be better for my Mobo/CPU combo.
My Mobo is: Asus TUF gaming B550...
I've also just realised that because they installed into the gen 3 slot with the mobo heatsink, I haven't got one to attach when I put it into the gen 4 slot.
Do you know if the 980 pro requires a heatsink? I'm finding mixed reports online. It's only the operating system/program files and one...
So my operating system is installed on the 980 and I have games installed on the Intel. I shouldn't have a problem just switching these should I? (First time trying this!)
Hi guys,
Just a quick question. I have received my PC from PCS. However I have noticed that the 1tb intel 670p drive I have appears to be in the gen 4 slot on my MOBO and the 980 pro I have is in the gen 3 slot (according to the manufacturer website).
Am I right in thinking that the 980 pro...
Ideal! It looks like people have been going into build around 22-25 WDs for the 3070 as well, but then it went into pre-order so not sure what to expect now.
I might yet be tempted to move to the Ti lol
From what I have seen the consensus seems to be no. If you look at benchmark videos on YT, it looks like with most top titles you only see around 7-10% increase in frame rates. However at the moment it's just under £100 to upgrade to it so you may feel it's worth it
The 3070ti runs hotter as...
Awesome!
I'm at 12 working days so still a little while for me, but it's good to see that it's continuing more or less along the same trend for everyone.
Would love to see some pics when you finally get your rig :giggle:
