It has been confirmed by PCS that this drive should be silent when operating. They believe the mechanical seeking arm may be rubbing on something. They are going to send a new one for me to swap out.. Customer service at its best.. 👍🏾
I don't understand why it has been completely silent since it was installed and now has started to make this noise?? It's so distracting, it's noisier than the fans! Nothing has changed and I regularly complete a sweep of the hard drive but now it's started this noise.... 😖
Hi, This drive is usually silent when operating and being scanned. That's the only reason I noticed it... must contact PCS when I get a chance... 👍🏾.. and yes that is my spec in the signature..
3 months old from PCS and the hard drive is clicking/noisy. Any ideas.. I have a video of it here... hopefully you can hear it.
Any thoughts??

I say laptop in the video... please forgive me...🤷♂️
Thanks
As per the subject. I am guessing the lower picture temperature (higher degree's) is more accurate as its from the AMD processor?? If this assumption is correct should I set the fans to come on earlier on the iCUE software?
Thanks
I have recieved the new fan from PC Specialist, now waiting on replacement front panel that was very dented when it arrived.. also bought a couple more RGB fans to light the way.. 😆😉💥

Would a data connection include a mobile? Sorry for my ignorance.. my motherboard has this on board 'ASUS® TUF X570-PLUS GAMING (USB 3.2 Gen 2, PCIe 4.0, CrossFireX) - ARGB Ready!' so I'm guessing it does support it.. after reading more about it I would agree it might not seem to support...
