Time for an update. I finally got another stick of 1.2V ram (I actually got it over 4 weeks ago at the time of this post - but I seem to spend more time at work) and set aside about 30 minutes(!) to change the ram around 3(!) laptops! Yes, I just managed it, but missed a train to work by doing...
You'll want my Acer Aspire 9920G for that! That was a monster to carry and gave you a workout while you did it. Great specs for the time, I mean like 7.7KG with battery, even more with a power supply and took up an entire table on a train in first class. Oh, it also had a 20.1in screen.
So, Cosmos IX time, keep benching the computer and I've gone to the extreme of creating a new partition, using that partition for this benchmark, updating 3D mark to the latest, etc and... I still get this which means I can't post my result online!
Thoughts? New install BTW
Not just me then! I must admit, the first few times it took some getting used to, as I don't use my recoil V very much, it still gets some getting used to. I'm not a fan of the keyboard I admit, not because its bad, its because it gets you to think the exact opposite of a laptop keyboard as the...
Sorry, being a noob to this forum, I had to join in. The oldest car on the planet - well feels like it, which replaced a car younger (by 3 months) than it - oh yeah, it was also another one of the same type. 3 door vs 5 door and in blue (which I much prefer than that shade of green.)
1.4L...
It will appear to glitch out because it does several tests. Once the end of the demo is finished, it does several other tests, such as physics, rendering, etc - which are done via reloading. You got all the way through so it counted as a pass. If you failed, it would tell you failed and the...
Vendor (ven) is intel (8086 - geddit?). I'm thinking those are chipset drivers. Have you done a windows update for optional drivers? Sometimes they are listed there.
And thinking of something, would it be worth encouraging those with non gaming laptops to benchmark there's? Obviously they'd be on the board possibly nearer the bottom, but its also interesting to see how they perform compared to gaming laptops. (Benchmarking a Gemini 14.1" laptop anyone?).
You've given me an idea. I think I have everything sorted, I'm not going to change the ram for the time being, but keep it as is - besides it works at 2667mhz. I think I have an idea why it is showing Generic VGA, it doesn't recognise the chip.
EDIT: At your suggestion, results on battery GPU -...
Second standard benchmark with the AMD drivers and nVidia drivers updated.

Interestingly, after I checked, the AMD drivers were installed but comming up as standard VGA device in 3DM. I've forced windows to now use the dGPU (is that a dGPU result?) on that...
Thank you, which is annoying, because I do have one 3200mhz 32GB - 1.2V stick that is currently in an Intel system, which is very similar to an Iconio (i7-10875H) that PCS sell which also has a 32GB 2667mhz stick in it too, which gets me thinking, although I need to ask another forum a similar...
While going through the first result:
That is interesting!
Drivers not installed by the looks of it.
While I am at it, for a different laptop, does anyone know how to unhide the results? My Cosmos IX decided it doesn't want to show all 4150 points to the world (Which also puts me 2nd and...
