Upgraded my i5 11400 to i7 11700K on my X170KM-G
https://www.3dmark.com/3dm/80333668?
Fully stock on everything no tweaks yet, don't have the time to do optimising like i used to now i am working., but plan to do so on weekend.
Ah ok, just thought i'd mention it that all just incase, after all someone might think its an Offset and then enter it in and wonder why it doesn't run the benchmarks without crashing the driver or the benchmark software or both.
So ok its detected and some what working what does running
sudo dmesg
Output just incase its firmware of the wireless chip missing if you want to upload it for me to look at then use
sudo dmesg > output.txt && cat ~/output.txt | nc termbin.com 9999
then send me the link to the file.
If...
Smashing bud, not sure if the Benchmark runs i did stock with 2133MT/s Single & Dual Channel, 2666MT/s Dual Channel & 2933MT/s Dual Channel is of any use its in post #290.
Also noticed you put +235 is an above stock or offset set? as I was on V-Curve on core and +185 on vram.
You need to disable Secure Boot as some installers do not have signed bootloaders.
I have ran Debian on my Clevo X170KM-G which has an RTX 3070 without issues aside from adding some switches to grub
acpi_osi=! acpi_osi=Linux acpi_backlight=vendor
which is to sort the slow boot issues due to...
Intel Wireless is will not work out of the box with older kernels. When i installed Debian on my Clevo X170KM-G it worked only because i was using a kernel version of 5.13 or greater.
So maybe try updating the Kernel: https://www.itsfoss.net/installing-linux-5-14-kernel-on-debian-11/
For now...
Is this question for me to answer if so, more then welcome to answer it in a Private Message as not to go off topic and will gladly explain everything thought process. As for CPU its a Non K SKU so no overclocking can be done its purely down to GPU.

@Martinr36 That cable management is triggering for sure.
@Tron1982 The system does look easier to move about, no need to hit the gym before lifting thats for sure.
However it would be epic to turn up to a lan party with this system it would sure break necks.
@SpyderTracks This is my Laptop cooler project thus far, still have a long way to go. Have to level the feet, clean the back of it up as well as the edges. Then i have to design how the fans are powered and how to mesh and mount the fans.
Unsure weather to go Fans powered from wall or from USB...
True but I prefer stainless steel, the height is permanently set to 45 degrees. The hole has a recess ready to add mesh and fans to it.
But it needs some grinding to remove weld stains and the a good sand down upto 2000 grit to make it really shiny.
Laptop as it is doesn't move at all in its...
I have a custom Laptop Stand myself had an awesome friend make it me, made from 5mm thick Stainless Steel for the X170KM with a hole where the laptops air intake is.
I have dropped 10c already on my temps when in High Performance mode on CPU without the use of more fans although i am planning...
