So far I've had no crashes ever since I followed your instructions you gave out on Sunday. Everything has been pretty smooth. I'm hoping it holds up. I'd like to thank you again for all the help, summaries and the instructions you've provided, I really appreciate it.
The breakdown you've provided is greatly appreciated. It will serve as a nice reference point just in case there are any problems associated with the graphics card.
I've uninstalled the NVIDIA drivers using DDU and manually installed the latest version of NVIDIA drivers. I've also reseated the...
Thanks again for taking the time out to reply, it's very much appreciated.
I was hoping it wasn't a graphics card issue since I'm actually past the one year point by about a month when it comes to the warranty for part replacement from PCS and 2080 TI is incredibly expensive. I've actually used...
I had another crash at 8pm, I went straight to the system logs and retrieved the mini dump file. I've uploaded it to https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1RHUZmGZZDtb513sTKxgh-LhN4uxq601H?usp=sharing
The latest file dump is saved as: 082521-14234-01
Thank you so much for taking the time to summarise the logs and present them so clearly.
1. The Headset I'm using is the Razer BlackShark V2 | RZ04-03230. I have downloaded Razer synapse for the headset and configured the settings. I'm hoping that fixes any problems that the headset might...
I don't know if this is relevant but I'll attach the screenshot anyway. Whilst using MSI afterburner to see how the desktop was functioning, the memory usage seems to be particularly high and I don't know why that is.
I've downloaded all the required and optional windows updates and I'm still experiencing the restarting/ freezing at the same rate as before.
I've gone into the system log and uploaded a detailed system log of the potential errors. The link to the system log is here -...
Here is the link for the Mini dump files - https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1RHUZmGZZDtb513sTKxgh-LhN4uxq601H
The BIOS version I'm on is - American Megatrends inc. 1502 - 21/02/2020
Bullguard has been completely uninstalled.
I'm on standby if there's anything else that needs to be done...
After sending my dump files across to Jack, he came to the conclusion that it was a GPU issue that was causing the crashing.
I was advised to uninstall my NVIDIA drivers back to a July version, I uninstalled the drivers using DDU and installed the July version however I'm still experiencing...
Any update on this thread? I've had the same issues of my desktop restarting / freezing during gaming. I have a similar set up to yours, with the only difference being the graphics card which is a 2080 TI. Were you able to contact PCS and come to a resolution?
Thanks for the help and communication, I've sent through an email attaching the application and system logs. Hopefully it's an easy fix since my warranty is due to run out
Update: I've downloaded CPUID HW Monitor and the temperatures look acceptable across the board hovering between 25 - 38 degrees Celsius so I don't think it's an overheating issue.
My desktop is relatively new and I've been experiencing frequent freezing / crashing, which occurs at least 2 - 3 times a day, often exceeding that to the point of 4 - 5 times a day. I don't use any torrents or dodgy websites, I mainly use the PC to game and get work done. Are there any programs...
I was wondering why my desktop tends to start over heating and the fan starts to get really noisy when I play certain games such as cyberpunk or warzone. The back of the desktop where the display port is plugged into / where my graphics card is located begins to heat up very quickly.
I'll post...
