Hi,
Yes I made sure I sorted it by highest committed at the top and descending accordingly.
Thank you all for your replys.
[Update] So a reboot brought it all the way down. It does seem to lag when at 95%+, for example I could be watching a film on one monitor and bring open another tab in...
Hey all,
So it seems there is a memory leak or a bad stick as it's always running high? Image attached, any advice is appreciated.

Love it, only issue is I don't know where the LEDs are supposed to be plugged in, I got 2 x 50cm strips which you can see around the sides of the case in...
Honestly it's just peace of mind and something I've been doing since my first PC, before I go to bed I go around and make sure all outlets are off except fridges etc. Just something I've been programmed into doing from early in life.
I do understand computers are much different now.
As for...
Over the course of the week since it began:
I've tried plugging the PSU directly into the mains and not through a power extension cord.
I've tried 2 different power extensions (one brand new).
I've tried the power extension cord in 4 different plug sockets.
And tried two power cables to the...
Had the PC about 19 months now and a week ago I started hearing a pop from the back of the PSU sometimes ever so faint sometimes a loud pop whenever I was switching the mains plug on, I initially thought it could be the surge protected power strip as I've had that for 5+ years so replaced it a...
As you can see by this screenshot I am not enrolled in the program. I can't unregister from something I am not registered to seeing as nobody it seems believes me.
You mention it could be the way I've done the install? That was simply an issue for re-installing Windows, I want to stop the fact...
Right last post on these forums, sorry for being whiny but during the early hours of the morning a non-working PC is the last thing I need.
Turns out to re-install windows I had to go into BIOS and completely disable the WiFi controller, from past experience with previous Windows is a...
Right so my machine is goosed completely now.
Attempting to do a clean install via the USB drive and get BUGCODE_NDIS_DRIVER followed by an error and this error loops restarting, error, restarting, error.
The fact I’ll have to wait now post lockdown to find someone local to fix it is laughable.
Then I need you to tell me how to stop Windows Update from offering me beta/preview/insiders builds because I'm currently on 20H2 19042.630 which was only announced a few days ago: https://blogs.windows.com/windows-insider/2020/11/10/announcing-windows-10-insider-preview-build-19042-630-20h2/...
I use a Creative pair of headphones directly into the jack in the front, the Windows Audio service in services.msc simply will not start, it says "Windows could not start the Windows Audio service on local computer."
For it to not pick any audio device up is a real mess up of a confliction from...
I hate Windows 10, 20H2 was offered to me to install and promised better stability & less bugs and now my Windows Audio service doesn't run, doesn't detect my creative headphones or ASUS monitor to play audio, went through numerous attempts to fix and looks like I cannot roll back.
Do they even...
Sorry for not getting back before now, unfortunately UBUYSA before I got your message as soon as I saw the reply SpyderTracks sent me I went for the clean install.
I'm back at version 2004 now, for some reason I must of installed what can only be described as a beta version of a 1909 patch on...
No they aren't in RAID.
Looking at my update history the last update to my PC was a Culminative Update Preview patch for 1909, did I accidently install a beta patch with bugs?! If I'm running a beta patch would explain why I can't update to 2004 release patch I guess..
I'm the kind of user...
So less than a year on from my purchase I'm running into issues. I play games and watch streaming services, that's it yet the past 3-4 weeks I'm just doing my thing and I get the blue screen of death and the CRITICAL_STRUCTURE_CORRUPTION which as most windows errors gives no definitive answer...
Hey folks.
After today's announcement I'm looking at snapping up the 3080 FE for my machine but have heard of the 12 pin connection from LinusTechTips and I'm really unsure about the PSU situation, I've always had my PCs pre-built.
I'd very much appreciate if I could buy the 3080 FE with the...
I've even powered down my PC and turned my monitor off to try it again and it gave me the beep codes when the monitor was off upon booting up just now, I myself have never heard of it before but it seems to be mainly on ASUS chipsets according to a lot of my digging around forums yesterday in...
@SpyderTracks
I've ordered some more thermal paste and will reseat the cooler and reapply paste at the end of the week, it's never reached temps like that before as rendering video the most it's got to is 58.
@ubuysa
I turned my monitor on before powering up the PC and never got those beeps...
Hmm yea so firstly it takes 1 hour 13 mins per pass so 8 passes is a no go for me, secondly if I'd of persisted with the passes it'd fry my CPU as it was recording a temperature of 98°C .. But it come up with zero errors after 1 pass of this test and windows memory diagnostic tool.
Not sure...
