Thank you, I had intended to buy a different cap, but as you say it has grown on me.
I did have a picture of the rig at distance, but my background wiring is a bit messy, as I have a UPS, work system, and a load of other things and I didn't want to go into the sin bin for bad cable management ;)
Hold on are you all betting on what card i will get??? Lol
Last 3080 ti i saw on the site was gigabyte, but that was back in August.
I dont mind what it is as long as its healthy ;)
Ok final update on this(fingers crossed) I have just been advised the system has been dispatched, so should get it tomorrow, which will be day 26 from order(though i did order quite late on the 17th.
Though of course I may be back to tell you what card i got in the rig as I wont know till I...
I also placed mine on the 17th August, and it went into production Friday, then testing Friday, and QS Monday. It went into Awaiting dispatch 10:57 yesterday 20th, and has just sat there in waiting dispatch since then :( Am hoping that changes today, and I may get it tomorrow.
(I am also living...
Ok my system just hit waiting dispatch, so hopefully if it goes tonight, it may be with me tomorrow. So in response it will have taken my system 25 days to reach me, assuming I get it tomorrow.
Obviously depending on stocks, availability this may be longer.
Which is why, if your sensible, you will check multiple sources, and ensure tge sites you look at take data from multiple sources themselves.
Totaly agree with the view that sites skew data. Saw a site yesterday that raved about Norton, put it #1 in everything, but if you bothered to check...
You just saved everyone from another wall of txt from me on if Windows Defender was free or not :)
I would just like to say one thing. Windows Defender, if you are a safe user is MORE than enough package for you, it has everything you need, BUT I will also say that we are all human and can...
I have been hovering around this thread wanting to comment and not done so as more illustrious people have been all for windows defender :)
My 2p's worth is that Windows Defender(WD) is a pretty good package, it used to be flippin awful which is probably why I am not a fan and don't use it, but...
The 3080 will draw slightly more power, think the site I saw stated about 30W more at load than the 70 ti, but other than that shouldn't cause you any issues, and will future proof you if you decide to move up to 1440p. Fairly sure it will run 1440p at 144hz fine and you maybe able to get 240hz...
ok update, as I go in through the main page and it starts at my order, I just back paged through and noticed mine has just gone into building on day 23.🥳 now hopefully there are no issues and it rolls through...
Ok Question, so do they advise what GPU they have installed on the "show" button of...
Almost the same that is in pre-production for me, cept I went for the 5000X case, put a 2TB Seagate HDD for storage(photography storage mainly so don't need super speed), a 1Tb 970 evo pro as second M.2(am dead excited about the 500G firecuda 530 as the boot/OS/App drive) and the 850W corsair...
not sure, but ordered mine in August and it is on day 23(as of the 17th). Hopefully will move to building soon, though got a response to an email yesterday saying it should be in production next week, which would suggest I will be on day 26 before they start, even though all the other threads...
