This month I ordered an Octane II 17.3" 970M laptop with 16GB RAM, i7 6700 CPU and a 512GB Samsung SM951 NVMe boot drive.
I ordered via phone, fast-track (five working days) and it came the next week i.e. Ordered Tuesday, arrived Monday via courier with a one-hour delivery slot.

Clevo have now added the P870DM to their product line-up... http://www.clevo.com.tw/clevo_prodetail.asp?id=885&lang=en
It can take a full desktop 980 GPU or SLI and comes with the first ever 4K 17" screen as an option.
I hope PCS can get it soon...
Is it worth getting 4 sticks of DDR4 ram to achieve quad-channel speeds? Or is this only supported on certain motherboards? The most common option is going to be 8GB or 16GB ram these days, but that's unlikely to be on 4 sticks. Are people who order, say, 32GB of RAM going to achieve faster...
Hello - I'm looking to buy an Octane II but what is the port specification for the M.2 interface? Is it an PCIe 3.0 x4 interface that will accept the faster NVMe cards that PCS is now selling (Samsung 951)?
If so, this would mean one gets speeds of almost 2000MB/s instead of about 500MB/s...
I noticed PCS have now added the fast Samsung SM951 M.2 to their M.2 line-up in the Configurator options. But on what laptop motherboards is the NVMe protocal that gives you the fast speeds supported? Does the Octane II support those 2500MB/s speeds?
Will the PCI-e M.2 drive be significantly faster than a regular SSD using SATA? The website does not state in the detailed specifications exactly WHAT KIND of PCI-e port the M.2 is on the Octane II. Is it X2? X4? v2? v3?
It's so confusing now. There's even NVMe which is supposed to be the...
I notice ASUS, MSI, Dell, etc are bringing out 17.3" 4K panels (finally!!) next month. I was hoping PCSpecialist would be too. Any chances? Here's hoping. ;)
