A couple of U.2 drives on the front would be fine as it leaves a couple of bays to mirror 2 X 10tb SATA drives for a couple of VMs and Data.
The EPYC 7272 chips are showing as estimated 1/8/21 is this not correct? It's a shame if they are on a long back order as may have to go with Intel...
Hi, probably no more than 50 streams at any one time passing through the server which sounds a lot but h.265 streams are very efficient bandwidth wise. Didn't have any option available for the cooling on the build.
Ok so go easy on me here but I am a regular user of Supermicro servers but find the suppliers in the UK hard to deal with and with long waiting times for motherboards and cases etc.
I resell servers as part of projects for CCTV and favour AMD EPYC processors.
I will be using the 2 NVMe 500gb...
