    PCSPECIALIST Cap a 144Hz monitor to 60Hz

I guess so, I have a Intel® Core™ i7 Eight Core Processor 10875H and a Nvidia 2060 and I think they work separately because when I use the secondary monitor the internal graphic processor doesn't show any work load, just the Nvidia (this in Task Manager). When I use just the laptop monitor...

    PCSPECIALIST Cap a 144Hz monitor to 60Hz

No, still nothing. On Intel website there is an update about the Intel graphic card but It warns me about installing generic intel drivers over "the customizations made by your computer manufacturer" (the driver I already have). It's just a generic warning and I can proceed with the installation...

    PCSPECIALIST Cap a 144Hz monitor to 60Hz

No nothing, Nvidia control panel just detect the two monitors as one, I think on laptops graphic cards have separate jobs for unique monitors. Integrated just for built-in monitor and discrete just for secondary, it makes sense

    PCSPECIALIST Cap a 144Hz monitor to 60Hz

I'm talking about the built-in monitor, not the external one. I can change the refresh rate in my secondary monitor from 50Hz to 60Hz but I can't change it for the laptop monitor, the built-in one. I was wondering if there was a trick or something

Hi everybody and thanks in advance. I have two monitors. My laptop has a 144Hz monitor and my second external monitor is a 60Hz monitor. I don't mean when I play games, but just for general usage, I would like to cap my laptop monitor to 60Hz (the same as the secondary) because work with two...

PCSPECIALIST [SOLVED] Can't boot from USB

Hi everyone, I have a Proteus VII and I just can't boot from USB to install Ubuntu studio. I tried to follow different guides and I disabled Fast boot in windows and then the BIOS is very minimal, I have really few options to tweak. Someone can help me? Ps. It's not the first time I'm...

PCSPECIALIST Review: 15.6" Initia AMD - it came, it had to go back, now it's running splendidly.

How did you manage to set it up as a low DPC latency audio laptop? I have a Proteus VI by Quanta (NLCB) and I have some DPC latency issues. I can set very low latency and don't have any audio problem but occasionally I can hear some cracckles or pops. Even with a high buffersize, just listening...

It doesn't work, but throttlestop seems to do its job instead. Probably I solved one problem, but concerning the fans I probably need to look further, thanks anyway

PCSPECIALIST Alternative app for Control center

Thank you for all your answers, but the Proteus VII comes with a 10-gen processor (i7-10875) and I was reading Intel disable undervolting for that chips. Indeed, even with Intel XTU I can't do a lot :( Most of the settings are in grey (disabled). Also in the Quanta website (as it mounts a Quanta...

PCSPECIALIST Alternative app for Control center

Hi everyone, I recently bought a Proteus VII that comes with control center 1.0.0.12 and it doesn't allow me to tweak a lot. Actually, I just want to have control of the fans and the CPU voltage as I heard it can help to reduce the CPU temperature. I use this laptop also to produce music and...

PCSPECIALIST Laptop for work with photos in Adobe Photoshop

I'm not an expert, but I read that NTSC screens are not the best ones in color reproduction for photography, especially with a percentage under 90%. Good in photography are sRGB screens. Under Professional/workstation laptop there is the Fusion Pro IV that would be better, it has the same...
