Thank you, I’m not expecting an official response really, and it’s a long wait to call them up at the moment, and as I say I I’ll take what I can get but I do appreciate the info.
Fingers crossed for an ASUS strix card though :P
I ordered a 6700XT based system yesterday, I’d rather have built it all from scratch but supply issues being what they are this is the only way to get one.
The option just says 6700XT it doesn’t say any brand so I’m guessing it’s the ATI reference design? That one is badly made from the...
That might be the case for the drivers, but I know there's newer versions of control center around. It may be that the software wont work on my Proteus 6 / Quanta NL5E but I did specifically ask the questions about it and didn't receive an answer just a link to the file.
Thanks for your responses,
I do have the Intel driver update utility running, and its covering the Intel based stuff.
However I would really like a newer version of Control Center as I've always seen its performance as rather poor and sluggish.
In the download section on my account here the...
Hello all,
I've been enjoying my Proteus VI so far and it's running well especially after tweaking the voltages. I would like to update the drivers and control center but don't know where to look and I don't trust Windows Update to do the job properly.
I know that Clevo has Control Center 3...
Hello all,
I finally got my Proteus VI after DPD lost it for a week, but it's here now! :D
I'm just posting a guide on how to get the back off one of one of these as its not entirely obvious as to where all the screws are. I fitted an NVMe SSD to the computer while it was off and so this is...
Hi SpyderTracks,
I've got the pictures of how to open up the laptop and fit a M.2 Drive. I don't have permission to post in the knowledge base section but I'm happy to share the pictures I've got though. Whats the best way to do this?
Happy to help. Knowledge shared is knowledge halved... or something like than :P
I'll be popping the back off whenever mine arrives to put my NVMe drive in, so I'll try and put some pictures up once I have done that. I could have done with seeing that before i purchased anyway :).
Looking good! Can't wait for mine.
DPD have lost my Proteus for the time being, so I'm still waiting... I've got a refund coming on my fast track spend though.
Any idea on what the HDMI and Mini DisplayPort rating is? Is it HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.4 or what?
That's not a bad idea! Thanks Oussebon :) I'll wait and see how long the lead is for the cooler first though. It looks like a barrel connector not a USB on the ThermalTake end, so I cant just swap it out for a different lead.
HOLTY2503, did you pay for fast track on your Proteus 6? I'm on day...
I just pulled the trigger on the ThermalTake Massive 20 RGB. I would have preferred the Massive A21 but no one sells them in the UK :/ They're the only manufacturer who do one with a 200mm fan.
Nice what cooler did you go with? I've not made my mind up yet, I'm thinking it'll need to be aluminium though.
I got my Oculus Rift S yesterday and am looking forward to being more mobile with this laptop, once I've migrated my data I can recoup some of the cost.
Fingers crossed I'll be getting mine this week as I paid for fast track. This will be replacing my Desktop PC which had a watercooled 980Ti and I'm hoping it will perform as well that did. Never had a gaming laptop so not sure what to expect. I will be investing in a cooling pad though
Hi there,
This is my first post. I'm new to Laptop gaming so am not clued up on the newest port connectivity standards.
I'm looking into getting a port replicator for my Proteus 6, once it arrives from PCS, but I'm not sure what is possible. I know that Thunderbolt 3 port replicators don't use...
