Np, I can understand it so...
What do you mean 2 power bricks? As in buy instead of 1 charger, buy 2?
And yeah, I know about the price, hence why I was thinking about the 15 inch recoil instead... but I dunno
Why can't Recoil be good for uni work as well? I don't mind 6.5 kg as I will probably carry it in my backpack (used yo have 10 when I was younger cuz books and stuff).
While uni usage is important, the main focus is for games and in some instances streaming and video recording
Honestly, 2 hours is probably more than enough in case of an emergency, but ugh... im still stuck with the hardware ngl. All these different gpu performances making this more difficult than it should
Also I realised that 6 hours of battery life is at most hopeful 🤣 2 hours seem to usually be the best. Well that's fine, but still the problem of hardware.
Might go for a 15 inch laptop instead but not sure if its better or worse and/or what the size of the screen would be either way (like...
And not even an 100% sRGB....
OK, so me getting a 3080 is a total waste on valeon or its all the gpus that suck?
All this constant new info confuses me more and more. The thing with cases couldn't be more simple huh?
I checked the 2 gpus a while ago. 3080 is around like... 15% better from what I have checked. I dont see how it isn't a big improvement on a laptop.
I would appreciate not using abbreviations such as DTR since I don't speak tech language.
Yeah. Luckily. LUCKILY, I think I might be able to increase my budget, still a maybe but...
It should increase my cap to 2300 and let me buy a gold warranty. Still waiting if its certain but...
The pad is a great recommendation so will certainly look into it, as for the laptops, I dunno, I feel like I'm more inclined to go for the 3080 one. I honestly think spyder has a point with overkilling laptops, and I need it to last minimum 3 years and I want to be able to play almost any game...
Argh. This is putting me in a pickle lol
OK, well, this answered everything for me. Thanks, anything else recommended? I assume buy cooling pad separately?
So im basically rolling with £2200 (maybe 2300, but not fond of that range) and currently on valeon with the amd cpu, a 3080, 1tb ssd evo 970, and now stuck on the ram. I initially considering getting 32gb, but tbh I doubt I will need that much.
As for my uses, games like warhammer total war...
Cuz basically I'm thinking what to cut corners on at the moment. Like I'm currently only planning to go 1 TB ssd, and perhaps cut down on RAM, since I i might be running out of my planned budget xD
OK that's a lot of useful info, I think i got only 1 last question. Which parts can be replaced / upgrades? Or are all parts soldered on to the motherboard?
