My current monitor has a refresh rate of 60hz and resolution of 1920x1080, I'd only upgrade the monitor if I needed to really. Nothing special with the work, no coding or anything just normal office stuff.

I'm willing to spend around £900/£1000 on a new PC, it'll primarily be for gaming but as I'm a Uni student I'll obviously still need to be able to do work on it. I don't really know anything about specs and so forth but I was hoping for this price I'd be able to build something that could play...
