Hi,
I just acquired a third monitor that I will be collecting at the weekend, I now have two 1080p and one 1050p.
My GPU is an AMD 7950 3GB, so far it has been flawless, I was wondering if adding a third screen will put that much extra strain on it?
I will still only be gaming on the centre...
Seeing lots of multi platform titles at E3 already is making me want to hold off on getting a PS4 perhaps, I would need a good wireless gamepad for my PC so I can play some of these games.
What do you guys use? Where is the best place to buy?
I have a wired 360 one just now but having the wire...
Hello, I love my PC but my car is currently broken, I am already £400 in the hole and it looks like costing at least another £700.
I need some advice on the best place to sell a PC? Ebay seems logical but the 10% they take is not ideal, so that would leave gumtree as the only real option.
I...
Hi folks, not sure what forum to post this in, but wondering if anyone knows if I sell my PC to someone else does the one year warranty follow over to them or will it be void? sure there must be a way of transferring it!
I don't want to sell my PC by the way, but my car is currently dead and...
My front case fan makes a really annoying vibrating noise, i have taken it out and put it back in but it still happens, everything is tight and secure, is my only real option to just upgrade to a better fan than these basic ones that come in these computers?
Also was wondering for an RMA do you...
What do you use as a mouse mat? I know there are other folk here with a PC hooked up to a TV.
I have a Logitech Wireless Keyboard that is great, I have a rollerball wireless mouse by logitech too, it's a good mouse but recently I have noticed when using it for long sessions of gaming my hand...
Since this morning my computer (listed in my signature) is emitting a high pitched squeal/whine. It is intermittent, it doesn't seem to be from any of the fans it sounds like it changes frequency some times, it doesn't happen when I just sit at on the BIOS only when I am actually using the...
I got this as my free game from EA for the Sim City debacle. Now I have had a chance to try it out I wonder why I never played it before it seems really great so far.
Any tips for a complete beginner? I am toying with buying the premium pack to get access to all the maps but can't really afford...
A friend of mine bought a PC here at the same time as me, he has just had it returned to him from an RMA which replaced the graphics card (hes on his third 7970 now) and motherboard. Most of the problems related to the motherboard seem to be fixed now.
However he is still having problems in...
From ordering my PC to it arriving at my door was 3 weeks exactly. I was pretty happy with this turn around although my order did get stuck in the building stage for 5 working days. After a message to PCS it was swiftly moved through the last few stages of testing and arrived within that week...
Since I sorted out my insane fan noise I have now noticed my HDD is constantly making noise, all it holds is data, even when I am not using it the hard drive light on the front of the computer is blinking and I can hear it making the usual grindy read/write noises. It is a seagate barracuda 7200...
OK so I really enjoy my new PC it handles every game I have thrown it with EASE!
I have the Corsair H40 cooler, it is great, playing sleeping dogs at 1920x1080 on EXTREME my CPU never goes above 48 degrees, fantastic.
The main problem is that the fan on the intake at the back of the case runs...
Does anyone know if this promotion has ended yet? I got an AMD 7950 and you are supposed to get games with it I think. It's not a big deal but a friend got a similar card and got them so I was just wondering! Cheers
Hi,
I am on the 11th working day of my order now and it is the 4th working day of it being in building, I did receive an e-mail to say it was already built. Is it normal for building to last this long? There are no extra notes on my account, should I just contact PCS and find out what the...
So I work with OSX and Windows and always ended up buying macs so I could have the best of both OS and through my work I got a nice 3 year warranty for free on mac hardware.
After speccing about about 97 laptops, 55 mini PC's, I finally convinced my wife to allow a desktop to sit next to the TV...
OK I have looked on every page before I put my payment details in and there is nowhere to enter the discount code, this code brings my PC into the price range I can afford, so where do I enter it???
I saw some people say its on the address page, but its not, and its not on any other page either!
Hi,
I have one question about this case, as I am using wireless peripherals (KB+mouse), the usb ports usually on the front are on the side of this. I sit about 1.7m away from the computer so will USB and Bluetooth dongles sitting in these ports pointing away from me affect performance in any...
This is my first go at this, I looked in to building it myself and it works out no cheaper at all! crazy!
Anyway after weeks of thinking about a laptop I have moved on to this.
A couple of questions, is it worth the money to get a slightly larger case and get the better CPU cooler? also what...
I have a bluetooth keyboard and mouse I would be looking to use with a mini PC if i got one, is it possible to add a PCI bluetooth card? or am I as well just using a small adapter?
