I am contemplating whether to get a desktop or a laptop. I can build pretty much the same spec for both.
I know desktops are easier to upgrade and are better for future proofing, but I really like the portability of laptops.
Can you help me out please?

What is going to be the best to future proof myself. A single GTX 1080 or a 1070 in SLI which i can upgrade later to a 1080 SLI.
It is on the 17.3" VORTEX VIII for the 1070 SLI.
