Hi all
My PC Specialist PC may be getting a bit long in the tooth, bought in 2012
I7 3820 intel processor
16 Gb 1600Mhz ram
GeForce GTX 680 2GB Graphics.
Those are the basics. Could I get away with buying a Geforce 980 or 1080 graphics card to allow me to play PC titles on my 4k TV ( so 3820...
Here we go folks, I have a Nvidia GTX285 1GB card to pop into this system, hence no graphics card in this build, but obviously want the best bang for buck I can get for sub £600. Just once concern, do I need a 6 core processor or should I drop to a quad core ( AMD 4100 maybe ?) Mostly playing...
The following spec is for a PC to run & store my Itunes collection ( an always growing library ), allow playback over a nice speaker system of Itunes items & Play DVD's , Mpegs, AVIs' etc etc, and very occasionally copy a dvd. In this case I want to keep the price as low as possible, and this PC...
Your opinions please.....
Maximum budget is £1000.00, I'm looking to build an Intel and Geforce based gaming system that will run everything out there at reasonable spec, Battlefield 3 , Diablo 3, Star Wars the Old Republic etc etc.
I think a Quad core processor is an absolute must nowadays ...
I'm looking for good dust filter material for a new build PC.
Whilst I could go for the Coolermaster Stormtrooper case with it all built in, I actually like the design of the
INWIN Dragonrider case, but of course it doesn't appear to come with any dust filters
What can you use that can be put...
So...the question is, I never overclock anything, but I like to stay on top of the game when possible, buying a new gaming rig every 3 years ( I don't drink, smoke or gamble, so what the hell).
So with that in mind, and a gtx580 1.5mb Twin Frozr, Intel quad 9450 @ 2.66 Mhz and 4GB of 1333 ram...
I use my PC for gaming the majority of the time.
I play everything modern, MMO's , Battlefield 3 etc etc along with lots of stuff from Good Ol' Games & Steam.
So my question is simple, do I get Windows 7 home 32 bit or 64 bit for best games compatibilty?
This PC is for gaming only, I'm not convinced you need anymore than 8 GB of ram even under a 64 bit O/S.
The extra HD's are simply for years of storage and MMO's.
