PCSPECIALIST Planning upgrading for gaming ect, im not computer savy and was needing advice if this spec is good or not. does everything seem compatible? monitor?

I'd go larger. My current system has a 120Gb SSD and it's full. I'd recommend AT LEAST 240Gb.

An M2 SSD would be faster. Also, I'm not an expert on monitors but an RTX 2080 may be overkill for that one. I just ordered a system with the same card, and I plan to run two 1080p and one 4K monitor on it. The same monitors are currently running OK-ish on a GTX 1060.

I considered AMD, but I went down that rabbit hole once before so I'm somewhat wary. Why would AMD be better for my uses?

Well, I already have ordered, but it's still in pre-production so changing a couple of bits shouldn't slow me down too much. If you have any suggestions go ahead.

I was wondering about changing the SSD for an M2. I'm not really familiar with M2, but I'm guessing that would work as a Windows drive and give better performance than a SATA one.

I use a SWEDX 28" 4K and a pair of 27" 1080p Philips 273V5s. I edit digital images taken at 4K, and play Fallout 4 when I'm bored. I also keep a LOT of browser windows open, which is why I went for slower, but more, RAM.

PCSPECIALIST Just ordered this. opinions? will i be able to run gw2 with comfortable fps?

The compatibility checker just tells you if the components will work together. It won't tell you if they'll work well together. The same goes for testing; that's to verify that the system doesn't have any faults.
