Yeah, speaking from personal experience though at least one competitor’s configurator only lists the parts they have in stock. Mine was built and arrived within two weeks.

PSA: There really are other retailers with cards in stock for custom builds. If you’re 40 days in with no sign of a build date, you have options.

For the record, it was dispatched today. Two days later than planned - but I'll take it.

To add my personal experience, I've had an order here since the 17th. Just cancelled, after finding another retailer that only allows in-stock components in its configurator - got the same build with a Zalit 3080 for Nov 3rd delivery. This hasn't been easy for anyone, but opening up pre-orders...

As an update, customer service just said the PSUs are currently set to be restocked on October 5th. So depending on when your card arrives (June?) it probably won't make any difference if you upgrade it.

That may have been my fault – I just upgraded mine. Wasn't showing as out of stock when I made the amendment – now it is. Does anyone know if that means I might also be at risk of a delay – or is the PCS system good enough that if a part like that was in stock when I bought it, I should be OK...

I agree that the waiting is objectively fine - from an objective standpoint you could tell me I would get my order at the end of November and I wouldn’t care – from an objective standpoint. It’s the actual minutes that are annoying - or the day-by-day wondering. Just a bit more communication...

I think in general in this thread the attitude has been one of patience and understanding. Everyone knows this is difficult for PCS. But it’s getting to the point where some more communication would be helpful. Other retailers have met customers halfway on this, giving details (where they can)...

To those who have spoken to PCS about wait times, what did they say? Is the ballpark for clearing the week one backlog 'a few weeks' or 'end of the year'? I'm tempted to dial my order down to a 2070S and upgrade next year – though I'd hate to do it.
