Just a heads up for you all.. I switch my 5800x cpu out for a 3800xt on Saturday due to being in two preorder queues. I figured switching the processor would be better than the graphics in the long run and I’ll eventually look to upgrade it. My pc has just gone into build today (66 days) 😃...

Im not surprised the 3090 is out of stock now aswell with the amount of people that swapped 🤣

Looking through this thread, it’s seems it doesn’t seem to work like that. I also ordered the cpu a couple of minutes after release, but it seems that if not all parts are in stock, the cpu or graphics are allocated to other orders as they have no storage space for the allocation to the oldest...

I’m at 66 days, build was a 5800x and 3080. Ive swapped the cpu for a 3800xt for now and will upgrade that myself at a later date, as with both being in preorder queues, I could be in for a massively long wait unless I got lucky with both items coming into stock at the same time.

Your not wrong there. I’ve swapped my processor to one in stock to try speed things up. Unfortunately it looks like if I want my pc anytime soon I maybe changing the graphics aswell and buying the 3080 at a later date when it is back in stock. Normally I’d be patient but having already waited 3...

I’m at 64 (9/10/20) days and not in build yet 😭 unless the stock on the 5800x is a lot worse than the 5900x I have no idea what’s happening was your standard or strix 3080?

64 days here and just been told the same mate. Was told on the phone yesterday that everything was in stock except 3080 (standard).Got an email a few hours later saying that I am now waiting for stock on cpu and graphics 😞

Who knows Depends if you listen to email support or telephone support. Telephone support this morning told me stock for cpu was good. Had an email this afternoon from a separate support agent saying pending stock on gpu and cpu

Speak with pc specialist, it could be faulty cabling on your front USB ports. They do provide standard support as part of purchasing from them.

Try this: https://www.drivereasy.com/knowledge/solved-usb-device-over-current-status-detected/ if your not comfortable opening the pc yourself of options 2/3 I would suggest contacting PC Specalist for support as to not void your warranties.

Sounds like one of your usb devices is playing up.or the port.. try unplugging them one by one with a power up after each. Once you’ve found the culprit, try a different port.

How can yours be in stock but I have been advised today my order at 63 days is still pending stock deliveries 🤔 @Ghosthud i thought the queues where on a first come first served bases?

A little annoyed as I swapped the cpu to the new ryzen 7 from the older ryzen 7 at 2pm on the dot on launch. I would of thought even if a part is missing (such as the 3080 is) all other parts should of been allocated anyway as I have previously been advise all other parts are ready and waiting...

After contacting support (63 days waiting so far) and being assured all parts other than my graphics card are ready to go and I’m just waiting on my 3080. I’m now being told my cpu is out of stock aswell 😞 hopefully they’re mistaken and this isn’t the case!

I’d be interested to know if swapping to a strix from a standard would be better. I’m 62 days waiting and if yours hasn’t been fulfilled yet I doubt mine will be for a long time 🙃 I’ve also heard a lot of good things so want to wait it out with PCS

Once I know more I’ll post on here. I’m not holding out much hope on it being this month. I’ve been searching the internet to see if I can get hold of one for self install also 🤣

I’ve even considered swapping to a 5700XT just so I can get the pc now and then upgrading it later in the year to a 3080/3080ti 😂 ive also talked my self out of this 😂
