Not really no, I’m just in the habit of turning things off when I’m not using them. I’ll leave it on going forward. Is it still okay to be switched off at the wall socket? Thanks
Hi everyone,
Had my PC for a few months and it’s working great. However I’ve started to notice that there may be an issue with power switch on the back of the case.
When I turn my PC on I turn the socket on at the wall it is plugged into and then the switch on the back of the PC case itself...
I've unplugged the ones that i've traced back from the Graphics card and plugged them back in. All the others i've pushed in as much as i can. Still no change though
Hi,
I’ve taken them both out at both ends and put them back in. I’m still getting the blue light on the graphics card, but no fans and no signal to the monitor.
Hi,
Just tried that, the cables going into the motherboard all feel secure and like they are in correctly.
I get this blue light on the graphics card when the PC is on, but none of the fans are moving, does this mean it’s working or not?
Thanks
It seems to be that the graphics card isn't on, but there's so many cables in here that i don't really know where to start. Any suggestions on what to look for?
Thanks
Hi everyone,
Just had my PC redelivered after having to return it due to a CPU fan error. I'm happy to report that the fan is now working, bit it appears to have a new issue instead.
None of the ports on the pc appear to be working. Previously, before it was send away for the CPU fan, when i...
I’m trying to remove the USB header but there isn’t much room to get hold of it. (It’s the red white and blue wire in the photo)
1, there wasn’t any noise from the fan, so I agree that this is unlikely
2, the temp immediately jumps to 90c after about 20 seconds of being off, is that too high...
Hi,
My new desktop was delivered today, I have just connected it up and after about 10 seconds of being on, it shut itself down. Upon turning it on a second time, it showed a CPU over temp error and CPU fan error message on the startup screen. I pressed f1 and it showed that the CPU temp was...
Sorry for digging this back up, but i've been reading into water cooled PCs, would this set up benefit for being rebuilt as a liquid series PC instead?
Seems really good and your reasoning makes sense! I plan to also use the system as a DAW with my guitar & amp (Protools etc.). Would the current set up be ample for that too? Would having a better sound card influence this at all?
Fairly new to actually building a PC so any thoughts/concerns would be appreciated!
Going with a Samsung Odyssey G7 27" 240hz monitor. System is really for high end gaming. Budget isn't too much of a concern, can go up to £4k if i need to, but don't really want o waste money unnecessarily...
