I’m sure somebody will look to help you shortly but in the meantime I would suggest that you edit you post to remove the Windows key … don’t want it stolen.

    PCSPECIALIST Optimum use of drives

Thanks For the tip. I've only had the PC since February so I don't want to do anything drastic but I'm going to buy a 1TB SOLIDIGM P44 PRO GEN 4 M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD (up to 7000MB/sR, 6500MB/sW) to repalce the 512GB PCS PCIe M.2 SSD (3300 MB/R, 2200 MB/W)

    PCSPECIALIST Optimum use of drives

    PCSPECIALIST Optimum use of drives

I used the Registry Editor method to move the AppData and Local AppData and this worked well but, of course, I couldn't run any programmes that were referenced in the original AppData files. I'm not going to uninstall and reinstall all my programmes so I'll wait until I next have to reinstall...

    PCSPECIALIST Optimum use of drives

If I'd been aware of this forum before I bought the PC I'd almost certainly have chosen a different configeration!! But I have what I have. Anyway will programmes still deposit enties in Windows > Users > my name > AppData if I uninstall them from the C: drive and reinstall them in the D: Drive?
