Very interesting that you've gone through all of the same steps that I have, I even replaced the graphics card, but this has not been successful. Did you have any luck in the end?

I see a few people have had a similar problem, whereby the monitor has stopped connecting with the PC. I changed the graphics card no luck and even the display port has stopped working. Next step I guess to change the mother board anybody done this and how much is a new mother board for an I5 core ?
