I guess this is my main question. See with my current build (i7-9700K, rtx 2060) it doesn't make sense getting say a 4080 super as my cpu is so old. I'm therefore hoping by getting the 7950X3D i'm kinda future proofing myself a bit. I'm also hoping the rest of the build makes sense around that...
the 1080p one. I have a thought what your reply might be, in that getting such a beefy rig and not having a 4k monitor is a waste, but I'd rather get the PC now and work on getting a better monitor in the future aha
ah ok, the current monitor is acer kg272 sbmiipfx (i don't think it's 4k).
Mainly for gaming, some work with vms but 32gb should be fine imo.
