@Martinr36 @Bhuna50 PCS Emailed me back saying I've found the cause and RMA wouldn't be necessary.

It's strange. It must be a recent update they released for it because I haven't had this problem before until 2 weeks ago. I'll see what PCS says, but doubt I'll RMA it.

I do thank for all the advice that's been given, but I just don't see the point of RMA'ing when I've found the problem. I've been on a game since 9am this morning WITHOUT any problems because I don't have Armoury Crate turned on🤷‍♂️

Quick search and found this where an update for Armoury Crate in March made peoples frame rates crash. Original poster said they uninstalled it and it was normal. Reinstalled and the problem ocurred again

I've found that Armoury Crate makes the frames drop. So I'm uninstalling it

Not these updates. These are Installed Updates. Optional Updates can be found at Windows Update > Advanced options > Optional updates:)

@Bhuna50 @Martinr36 PCS got back to me and they agree with you both. But also said it might be my RAM. I've found something out. Disabling all but these, and Adobe, in System Configuration don't drop frames. But disabling Adobe and enabling everything else drop frames.

Task Manager says 3060, so yes. It's only started happening in the last fortnight.

Just throwing ideas out there, that's all. Just on American Truck Sim now, frames dropped. I waited a while, and managed to alt tab out and computer is running just fine, alt tabbing back into game it's its smooth again.

Could it be a problem with thermal paste? Or a Windows Update?

Not a lot. They asked me to run MemTest86. It completed with no errors. I sent them an email at 10am, no reply yet.

I'm in contact with PCS. Does DistributedCOM have anything do with with low fps? I got low fps and restarted the computer at around these times.

Looking in Armoury it says I don't have these installed: AMD Chipset Driver Intel Gigabit Ethernet Driver Realtek Audio Driver ASUS Core SDK has an update Should I install and update them?

Is it worth trying a clean boot ?
