    I opened the case up but failed to see the screws are numbered, I take it then there is a number next to each screw somewhere. I'll have another look before I dismantle anything

    thanks for the link I will find that in UK, as to the removal of the CPU and GPU do they remove easily and do you scrape off whatever paste was on the underside and motherboard, sorry but it's all new to me

    Unscrewed the base and blew out anything I could see which wasn't much, but not confident taking it much further

    Middle of January 2023 but they said original warranty stood and not from date of replacement motherboard

    It has already had a motherboard replacement and they serviced it then. The laptop does not get hot and the fans rarely kick in

    My laptop screen as of last night suddenly goes various colours, mainly like a dark mottled green then darkens (almost like a burn effect spreading over the screen) then over 3 to 4 seconds the black spreads outwards to all areas of the screen and if I wait a few seconds then press the power...
