PCSPECIALIST How to update PCS SSD firmware?

My PC I have from PCS has a PCS SSD. I can't find any information anywhere on if or how you upgrade the firmware of the SSD like mainstream SSD manufacturers have. What's the deal with this?

    PCSPECIALIST Pre-built PC constant crashes

I actually replaced the stock cooler with an aftermarket cooler and the CPU was seated fine - no thermal paste to be seen outside of where it should be. I've ran memtest86 today on both sticks of RAM on their own with no errors. Just that one error when both sticks were in. As I am only using...

    PCSPECIALIST Pre-built PC constant crashes

RAM stick arrived today, placed it in (together), ran memtest86 and there was an error on pass 2/4. 😩 I'm now running the stick on its own, and will contact PCS again if this stick is also faulty.

PCSPECIALIST Noisy CPU fan - Need solution

I had the exact same CPU and stock cooler and it was incredibly loud, even with a 'quiet' case. Ultimately it's just a really poor cooler in terms of noise. I spent £50 on an after market cooler and installed it and it is whisper quiet. If you don't want to hear a loud fan I'd recommend...

    PCSPECIALIST Pre-built PC constant crashes

Hahaha honestly. There is nothing worse than having problems and not knowing why it's happening. At least now I know and can begin the process of getting it fixed. Hope has been restored!

    PCSPECIALIST Pre-built PC constant crashes

Thankfully, I've just hit a load of errors on the second stick. I'll get on the phone to PCS first thing tomorrow morning. :D

    PCSPECIALIST Pre-built PC constant crashes

Just out of curiosity - what would the cause be if that was the case? Is this a known thing that RAM sticks can be faulty in pairs but not singly?

    PCSPECIALIST Pre-built PC constant crashes

I hope this is the problem but I must admit I am a bit skeptical as when I was having these issues and attempting to diagnose them myself I ran memtest86 and found no errors at all so it did surprise me to see so many last night. The tests I ran on one stick finished last night and resulted in...

    PCSPECIALIST Pre-built PC constant crashes

Both sticks were to my eyes inserted properly. I've taken out the 2nd stick and am now running memtest on the 1st stick only. If it doesn't error by the time I wake up I'll switch them, if it does, I'll still switch them in case they are both faulty I guess. Either way, I'll post in here with an...

    PCSPECIALIST Pre-built PC constant crashes

Do you think it is worth letting this test run overnight now with 2 sticks or just end it now and re-start with just one stick?

    PCSPECIALIST Pre-built PC constant crashes

So, I had run memtest86 for an hour or two a few weeks ago when diagnosing this myself and it didn't error at all, however unfortunately after under 10 minutes tonight this has happened: 12 errors! Does anyone know what exactly this means and how I should proceed? I will update first thing...

    PCSPECIALIST Pre-built PC constant crashes

@ubuysa @SpyderTracks @Nursemorph Bad news - I had just clicked shut down on my PC to turn it off for the night and it blue screened. Attached is the log.

I think that list of attributes all showing as "Good" is the SMART status. There is a setting to hide SMART data and when enabled that section is hidden.

    PCSPECIALIST Pre-built PC constant crashes

Good idea. I'll plug the mouse and keyboard into it instead of the standard USB ports. EDIT: Plugged them into the card and everything still looks fine in device manager, the mouse and keyboard work fine, and Windows detected them specifically as what they are. Will keep them plugged into it...

    PCSPECIALIST Pre-built PC constant crashes

Actually on second thought, I have rebooted Windows and again without plugging in the Oculus Rift it seems OK in device manager: I'll run the software you suggested now and NOT plug in my Oculus Rift and leave things as they are. If I see no issues for a few days I'll try and plug it in and...

    PCSPECIALIST Pre-built PC constant crashes

I think the "external camera"'s are the Oculus Rift sensors. I unplugged my Rift headset and 2 Sensors and those devices disappeared as did the USB warning. So I'll uninstall the USB card devices and reboot. Then I'll install the Oculus software (which I can only assume will install whatever...

    PCSPECIALIST Pre-built PC constant crashes

Should I "roll back driver" for the two Fresco Logic USB devices (this is the Inateck USB card) and reboot Windows, or uninstall the device totally?

    PCSPECIALIST Pre-built PC constant crashes

Actually, after unplugging my Oculus Rift from the USB card (my Oculus Rift hasn't been installed yet but was plugged in), this error above is no longer there:
