I'd still recommend this as the best you can do for the budget.
Hi. Sorry to jump on this post, it's just the same budget I'm looking to spend on my Son's gaming pc for Xmas. Can you recommend a case - he wants white with the colorful fans and 1 glass side. Could you also potentially recommend a monitor? He apparently wants a wide-screen curved one and then he has told me he will link up the current small flat monitor in portrait mode?! He wants to get MSFS - would this be a good fit? Thanks for any advice you can offer, it looks to be a minefield!!

Best bet it's start your own post rather than hijack this one, and have a read of this

Hi All. First of all, apologies to anyone I offended for hijacking someone else's thread. I am new to seeking advice online and very nearly coughed up £1500+ on a gaming PC from another site with in Intel i9 processor which I now guess from reading posts on here may have been unwise. Secondly thank you for any advice you may be able to provide me - I appreciate you are all either customers and/or technology wizards giving up your time advising people who are unsure of the right PC to invest in, or hopefully complete novices like me? I have borrowed a spec (below) from responses to someone else's thread that looks like it could fit my Son's needs for a Xmas present. Could you please help?? He's 12 and already has better knowledge than me on this stuff, but it wouldn't be a surprise if I asked him! You've already from other posts convinced me that £1500 is not really going to cut it, but my max really must be £1800. Oh monitor is on options below too and to be used for gaming (mainly Microsoft Flight Simulator) and family PC (emails/documents etc. but nothing too taxing!)
