15.6" Cosmos II Flickering screen lines on screen

Hey guys have this issue on the 15.6" Cosmos II where these black lines show up on the left side of screen but when I pull the screen down and put it back up its fixed.

Is this a loose connection on the panel and is there a DIY way for me to fix it, RMA is quite expensive.

Thanks

It is a loose LVDS cable. Yes there is a way to attempt fixing it. You can take the panel off of the bottom of the case and re seat the LVDS cable if you have the knowledge to do so but it is probably on the display side and that I can not advise you to do and I would say return it to us.

Thanks for the quick reply. I will check the cable on the motherboard. However how much would it be for me to send the laptop back to you?

Thanks again

I will give it a go hahaha -

Turn the laptop upside down and make sure you have the hinges facing away from you so we are looking in the same place.

Remove the the bottom panel from the machine by removing the screws and the panel should slide off if you push away from you

You will see a black fan surrounded by a silver housing. The connector is here -

The image is super bad quality but there is only one connector in that area so you will see it.
