15.6" Genesis IV 635m 1gb Graphics Card

Before I added this into the basket (Already got the laptop now as you may off guessed) i looked on the forms not on here btw ) and it says this card can run it in low to Medium don't mind low, but within seconds it over heats, and even the pc it's self is a 1,200 laptop running core I7 Quad Core 2.8GHz 8Mb 8G 1600 MHz Ram.

I dunno if it's me been fussy, I never looked for a gaming machine don't mind playing games in low but this is just below what i thought, even struggles with League off Legends could be the shadows?

Is the machine definitely using the 635M and not the integrated Intel graphics?

On the other hand, what screen do you have? I guess the card will struggle in 1920 x 1080 more than in 1366 x 768. The benchmarks here http://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-GeForce-GT-635M.66964.0.html suggest that it should be able to handle most things in low/medium but, again, I wonder what resolution those numbers come from.

Went into Nvida / sorry bad spelling/ Utility, changed it to High Processing Gpu, and for all my games ive lowerd the resolution

OK, so you have the 1920 x 1080 screen. That's gives the GPU more to do than 1366 x 768.

What resolution are you running games at?
