She is so snappy and fast. I bought the laptop to enable WFH but also for my gaming needs - not been able to play games on my PC for a couple of years due to no space for a desktop. I mainly play Total War series and also Starcraft 1 + 2. This plays Total War: Warhammer 2 incredibly well - ultra settings. My favourite game of the series - Rome 2 - plays amazingly too of course. The fans are ridiculously loud (reminds me of my PS4 - airplane taking off!) but of course not much I can do about this, and I had the same issue with my old PC too - I do find it distracting.

I took the bottom case off on arrival so I could add my own SSD into it - I struggled at first but PCS sent instructions which made it dead easy. As I mentioned it

A big thank you to @Oussebon who advised on the spec. Made me change from a 1050 to a 1660 Ti - well worth it to run my games well. Only annoying thing is (my fault) I realised that if I'd gone for this spec to begin with...I could have ordered it in the PROTEUS VII case which looks nicer than this one! But I'll live :)

Some previous reviews had mentioned they find the case feel cheap - I personally disagree. Yes you have a big gap where the hinges are but I don't find that annoying. And yes it doesn't feel as luxurious as my work laptop - a Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon - but it feels fine and the keyboard feels good as I type.

A very happy customer!

Great to hear it's a success! :)

And thanks for posting the review including pics, always helpful and people like to see the insides of the chassis

In my review I was wayy too afraid to open up my laptop and take pics of its insides (I took pics of the outside too but my camera is so rubbish other people's posts did better).
Is the chassis difficult to open? Ihave a 2.5in HDD drive in my old laptop which is quite unstable (I was a clumsy teen. and i learnt the hard way not to drop laptops with moving parts HDDs, it damages them) and I want to back it up onto my newer one.

I might end up hijacking OP's post but i wanted to let you know why I didn't. If i'm indeed hijacking let me know :D

For technical questions, it is always better to start a new topic about it as you are more likely to get responses....adding to someone else's post may lead to your question being missed.

As to opening the chassis, my understanding (having not owned a laptop personally) is that it is a matter of undoing a few screws and then removing the back and then you can attach the other hard drive.....the alternative is to buy a USB to SATA lead (something like this: SATA to USB), then all you need to do is plug it into a USB port and transfer the files (I did the same thing with my tower when I bought a new system and wanted to transfer my old files over)

Thanks. I have the same laptop that's why I posted here but I suppose your answer satisfied me.

I'll look for the SATA to USB thing, as I doubt I want to waste a storage slot on my old HDD
