15.6 vs 17.3 inch laptops in terms of cooling

Are there any difference if laptops specs/cooling system are the same? For example Optimus VII 15.6/17.3 laptop with same specs. Is cooling performance exactly the same?

They will be different as the laptops are physically different. It's not something that I would worry about though, these laptops are on their 3rd version now so any required improvements will have been made to each chassis.

Thank you, but it still doesn't answer my question completely. I still want to know more info about cooling performance for Optimus VII 15.6 and 17.3 inch laptops (how different cooling performance is).

Same thing. I prefer 15.6" laptops but I'd pay a £100 extra simply for the better cooling, I'm out for longevity.

The only people that can answer that are those that have both and have tested them. Which is likely to be no-one on this forum. Ring up PCS and ask them.

I believe the point is that they are rarely on the forum to answer queries like this. You are better to get in touch direct.

I did this and this is their response:

Thank you for your email, I can confirm that the 17.3” chassis do have more component room and an extra fan that will enable your system to stay that little bit cooler in return for the extra weight and size of the chassis.

So it means that Optimus VII 17.3inch laptop chassis has x2 fans (cpu/gpu) and additional fan to keep system cooler because of available space ?
