I was wondering whether the 17.3 Inch Optimus IV laptop supports SLI.

Also if it does, would it be possible to swap out the DVD Drive for a Sli Ready GPU using the right caddy?

It doesn't support SLI,at least it's not an option on the configurator,not quite sure what you mean by "swap out the DVD Drive for a Sli Ready GPU"?

The GTX660M in the Optimus IV is directly soldered to the board, it's designed to be a single GPU system, the systems GPU's are non-configurable as there are no physical connections for other GPU's. If you need a dual GPU system, you'll need the Vortex III Elite.
