2 x Graphics cards Advice needed

If I am opting for 2 graphics cards is it best to have 2 exactly the same or one more powerful than the other?

Both the same. Worth mentioning in any system it's preferable to get a single card the most powerful you can afford. Sli bring issues such as not many games supporting it, microstuttering, configuration issues etc. I would personally avoid it if you can. The only time it's really warranted is when a gtx1080 isn't powerful enough for 4K gaming.

Thanks for that, I was 50/50 on it anyway so that has helped make my mind up.
