Hi Guys,

i wanted to know your thoughts and advice of this build. I know now that i will need to switch the i9 for AMD 5900. However it will not let me change this on the amend order screen.

I have a Samsung odyssey g9 and will be mainly playing single player games like racing car simulators, first person shooters and war games.

i don't really want to be spending anymore but please feel free to critise and

To switch to an AMD build, sort a quote in the AM configurator and give them a call , tell them you want to change to AMD and hopefully they will be able to sort it for you without affecting your 3080 queue position

With the Ryzen processors you really need fast RAM I wouldn't recommend less than 3200Mhz

Also might be worth going for the 850W PSU the new GPU draw power like crazy

You should remove Bullguard too, Windows comes with Windows Defender which is as good as any anti virus out there for regular uses and it's free

Silver warranty is always worth a fiver too

if you give a call to support, they might be able to change it for you over the phone without canceling the order and losing position in queue.

Or did you already do that?

also when did you make the order? if it was only recently, canceling and doing the AMD build is what i would do. Unless you are waiting for month or two already

I have already called in and they said I will need to cancel the order as it’s through finance. I’ve been waiting 2 and halfs months so don’t really want to start over again.

is sticking with Intel really going to impact the performance?

can I not improve the build in anyway?
