3D surround - fps

Hello,
I got my pc and it is working great. I am planning on adding 2 more monitors (27" inches 3D) and I have 2 GTX 580 3GB on SLI but I am concerned with the possibility of a significant fall in fps (and thus quality of image?) when playing games. When playing games on 3D such as Battlefield the fps goes to 60 with one monitor but when playing in 2D it goes to over 100. Am I wrong in assuming that if I get 3 monitors and attempt to play games in 3D there may be a significant fall in fps and thus quality of image/lag? I'd appreciate your feedback.
Cheers

three 27" 3d monitors are going to push your 580's to the max, I'm not certain what the decrease in fps should or would be, however, im sure frenchy will be able to fill you in on this one

Morning Tom,
My understanding is that 30 fps would be the minimum acceptable for gaming. I ordered 1 more monitor but I am a bit unsure of attempting the 3D surround if the fps drops too much.
