40 Working days in pre-production...

Ordered back in November RTX 3080 + AMD 5900X still nothing. Anyone got any days higher than 40 in pre-production for the same spec?

Totally understand stock issues but its been a long time now. Would love to see a list of where I am in line, I feel like it would make people like me shut up and the support tickets asking for an updates would become non existent.

The 5900X is also a massively high value item, there’s a section of the forum devoted to that.

I don’t think any of the above info is going to necessarily make you feel better, but it’ll be worth keeping an eye on them to stay in the loop. At forty days... you’re potentially around the halfway point. Huge demand and global supply issues don’t make for a good combo but you’ve not been forgotten about 🙂👍

I ordered the same 2 towards end of Nov about 35 days I think now. As mentioned they are already fairly large threads regarding these. but basically some are on 60 days waiting at the moment. I get the impression they are doing builds for the orders that came in early Oct. So hopefully by end of Feb, maybe, if they get the supplies in.

But it's worth the wait.

@andjef796 , you forgot the man in the moon, as well as the person whose done all their shopping, got to the checkout then gone to do another trolley while going through the checkout

This isn’t going to make you feel any better but, I’ll do it anyway as I’m kind like that, my order is 3080 and 5900x I’m on 66 working days in pre production, I ordered on the 15th October (I’ll soon be entering my retirement years once I hit 70 days :ROFLMAO:)

43 days for me with same gear. On the 3080 thread it looks like 70+ days is around when builds are starting to happen - I’m assuming this was around launch time orders

50 days in and changed to an in supply Corsair 850w PSU and a 3090 vs 3080, so all hangs on the 5900 or 5950 which I gave them option for either in my build

Trying to convince myself the extra £££ on the 3090 is worth it against the looooong wait for the 3080. Think you’ve made the right move. I’ve got another 30 odd wds I reckon
