Well here it is, still have another LL120 to go in the back but the cable routing on the original looks so tight to the motherboard it might be a pain to get out.
that's a nice system! what's the full specs of that beauty?
What spec did you go for in the end as you seemed to make quite a few amendments after ordering?Cheers, yeah I’m really pleased with the way it’s turned out, specs here, monitor is LG 27GL850
Davinci Resolve Editing System, with a bit of gaming.
Right, enough messing, its getting ordered today, went for 2 x 2TB Barracudas over the 1 x 4TB ironwolf (not sure if is will need them but the second one only adds £30 or so to the build) the H150i Capellix has come back in so gone back to that. Monitor is going to be an LG 27GL850-B (maybe...www.pcspecialist.co.uk

Yeah it's not a HDD, its right next to the drive bays from memory, will take a photo later when i get chance. Can you send a photo of it?
If I'm thinking of the correct area the only thing down there is drive bays but what you're describing doesn't sound like a HDD
if you read the text below the photo...........Would it be this?
PWM fan controller

I found it here on this site ...https://www.techpowerup.com/review/corsair-5000d-airflow/4.html show's no other PCB's in the close up review.
Weird, we're just throwing things out there but ok will wait for picsNo, the PWM and RGB controller along with the H150i commander are installed under the cable cover flap behind the motherboard, this is a small PCB jammed right into the bottom of the case, will post a photo later

@Steveyg any ideas ?Ok, here it is, right behind the PSU and in front of the HDD cage, it might actually be something to do with the Corsair stuff, difficult to see for sure but looks like it might be connected to the commander for the H150i, power splitter or USB hub maybe ?
Unfortunatley they are jammed really tight onto the top of it so are hard to shift, will see if i can get a better shot of it, at the end of the day its not really that important, its just in a really crap place and i have no idea what it is !Maybe if you could move those cables out the way we could see it better
OK no bother, has me baffled too....It kind of looks like a fan hub but it's a very odd place for it. It's baffled me a little mate that's why I haven't wrote back.
you've got us all curious now..............Unfortunatley they are jammed really tight onto the top of it so are hard to shift, will see if i can get a better shot of it, at the end of the day its not really that important, its just in a really crap place and i have no idea what it is !
