64 bit or 32 bit operating system ?

I use my PC for gaming the majority of the time.

I play everything modern, MMO's , Battlefield 3 etc etc along with lots of stuff from Good Ol' Games & Steam.

So my question is simple, do I get Windows 7 home 32 bit or 64 bit for best games compatibilty?

Nothing wrong with 64bit software anymore.

You'll have bigger problems with games released that don't work well, or the GPU drivers anyway.

Plus you'll want 64 bit as 4GB RAM will be borderline enough next year and 32bit OS can only use 3.5GB.

Don't buy the 32 bit version, the 64 bit version is what you want to have. You can run compatability mode to get older games working.
