So, as some of you may now know, I will soon have 4 graphics cards nestled into my HAF 932. Even for the beasty HAF this will prove a little tricky to cool. (My 470 already ramps up to 80% fan speed because no airflow between that card and the 9800 GT underneath it.

My solution is (dont shoot me Gorman) 4 120mm fans on side, 3 120mm fans on top, and im gonna try and mod something inside to blow fresh air straight through the 470 from its backside. Yes I know it sounds a little wrong but lets keep the innuendos at bay!

Pics coming when I receive the st00f.

While the coolmaster fans are nice I'd recommend using silverstone air penetrator fans instead for intaking air because they're specially designed to provide better cooling that any other intake fans on the market. They channel all of the air into a collumn making the cooling far more efficient that normal fans which just push the air all over:

Would be worth it if you can afford it, but they don't have flashy LED's if that's something you really like :(

Meh I just went with the red because I have a front red. I would rather maximise airflow, but, for £4.03 each these ones are great. Otherwise im looking at £70 in fans xD Maybe one day!

I intend to dangle a fan near the backside of my GTX 470 in a vain attempt to keep that baby cool now its sandwiched buy 9800 GTs...

The generally accepted method for good air flow.

This forums idea of good airflow.

The second option DOES work. Ive managed to cool my GTX 470 (while being sandwiched amongst 3x 9800GTs all folding) to an amazing 26 degrees on idle. Lmao, 40% fan speed. 7 fans pumping air all over the shop.

It is isnt it :p

Although it isnt correct, Gorman has used RED line, when infact these should be BLUE lines as im blowing in cold air from the 4 intakes on side :D

Though I think by the time it's gone round that whole squiggle, it would be about as far from blue as you could imagine :)

But yeah, that picture did make me grin.

in opposite world :) Tbh it serves its purpose, i left pc on for 20mins doing nothing, evga graph levelled out at 34deg idle for my 470 :D, goes up to about 70 load, fine by me as fan isnt ramping up at all during this time
