I am looking for a desktop computer aimed at music production, but am unsure which one would suit my needs.
I have a saffire Pro 40 that enables 8/8 I/O through a Firewire and i require a desktop that can handle the task of recording 8 simultaneous inputs at 24bit 96khz without the clicks or pops at low or non-existent latency,
I also regularly mix down up to 24 tracks (24bit/96khz) at a time and with multiple plugins and MIDI instrument tracks but this has become impossible on the laptop i have.
My budget is ideally under £700
