A great build with a SSD

Hi, I have £800 and would like to buy a new gaming PC with a nice compact case and a good size SSD as I make game videos and upload them to YouTube.

Also I would like a decent 22 inch monitor and a decent keyboard and mouse. I do not play high end war games but there is a new Abe game coming later this year and it is an HD remake and would like it to be good enough to play New 'n' Tasty when it comes out later this autumn.

You are asking quite a lot for your budget so compromises come in to play but here's a couple of options. Ideally, I'd say you need to save another £100 at least to make the most of your money.

You get a slightly better monitor with the AMD set up, but overall they will perform roughly the same in games. The AMD will outperform the Intel I3 on multi threaded tasks however. Your compromises are the budget graphics card, mouse and keyboard. The SSD is also the weakest in terms of R/W speeds on the configurator but will still fine for your purposes.

That sounds goof to me. I would like to have a quad core processor and I can afford it without Windows.

For your uses with that budget I wouldn't bother with an SSD and put it towards a better graphics card,the 7770 is pretty weak for gaming by todays standards.Also you could always upgrade peripherals like mouse and keyboard later if need be,but I find the basic ones adequate.

Is there anything different between the i7 3.4ghz and the i5 3.4ghz?

I would still go for a better graphics card,and the hydro cooler isn't really necessary unless overclocking.
Is the monitor,keyboard and mouse included in your £800 budget,as you haven't included them in your spec,but you have selected a wireless card?

This is as good as I can get, it does not include an SSD though, this is something you can add later, the money from the SSD went on a better GPU, the AMD 7950 is great in your price range. The WD Caviar Black is still a very fast driver even though it is mechanical.
