A Question About Windows 7.

Ok, so in the past when I first tried making a PC with PCS it said I needed Windows 7 Pro to handle 16GB RAM. Now, when I went to look at the RAM capacity on Microsoft's website it said I needed Home Premium. If this is wrong can someone please correct me?

Home Premium has always had a limit of 16GB.
Over 16gb requires Win7 Professional or higher

Are you sure when you got the message you hadn't accidentally picked over 16GB
