A Real Nice Laptop Who Looks To Be Finding A New Home

So I bought a rather decent laptop for University and now circumstances have changed it is no longer necessary and money issues are approaching. With that in mind I plan to sell and was wondering if anyone knew any good places to try to sell it as I was going to try ebay. I was also wondering if PCSpecialist buy back the computers they make(obviously at a reduced price) so I could just get it off my shoulders. Specs are as below, I have had it for almost a month and I barely touch it, it has all the necessary drivers installed and the OS is on the SDD.

I was planning to see if I could get somewhere in the £950-1000 for it, a loss of £300+ but I don't really care all that much. Thanks for the feedback!

Hi, unfortunately PCS don't (as far as I know) buy back old/used laptops and you are not permitted to sell anything via these forums unfortunately so I've removed your specs.

You could try to sell it via ebay or gumtree or similar sites though?

I wasn't trying to sell from the site, I was showing the specs as an idea of what it is so I could find a recommended site for perhaps this range of computers. There was no intent to advertise here.

Perhaps it was a precautions on preventing others from contacting you. eBay or gumtree could be a good place, 2nd hand depreciates quite a lot though and I would also be careful with ebay/PayPal fees

I would consider a £300 price reduction a rather decent depreciation from the original price but I'll keep it in mind. I guess there are transaction fees of some kind with ebay and/or Paypal or something?

Yes, a % of the sale price which for £1000 or more would be significant. Regarding the laptop price you are seeing it as a seller and obviously expect to get as much back as possible but considering a new chassis is available that could cost the same or £200/300 more I would think some may prefer to buy it new. Also there is the issue of making sure that the laptop is working fine and no components are faulty or the GPU has been overclocked.
