PC is for my daughter, for school and playing minecraft hence 16GB memory but only a standard monitor.

no future plans for upgrading, wife says must be a 'tidy' case and £800 max.

Am I missing anything???

Cheers.

If it's only going to be used for work and light gaming you can drop the 16GB. 8GB would more than suffice and then some, you'll be saving a couple of quid there alone.

My only suggestion would be more disk space. It won't take long before it fills up with videos and music unless that is you already have a family NAS or USB storage device?

You could opt to drop the SSD and get a 2TB WD Caviar Black instead if you wanted more space but didn't want to spend more money.

I was told Minecraft can be very memory intensive, as for disk space I have surplus 600GB HD's at work !

Just read up online its more CPU than memory! so will knockdown to 8GB
